Greg DeShields from Tourism Diversity Matters, will be participating in our career fair on Thursday and hosting an informational seminar at 4:30 on Thursday (2/23) about their Apprenticeship Program.
his is an awesome new program that provides hands-on working experience to diverse professionals interested in pursuing a career in the tourism and hospitality industry. Successful completion of the 600 hour rotational apprenticeship concludes with placement in a position with one of the organizations the apprentice works with. Potential Apprentices will receive an opportunity to choose a tourism, hospitality, events, venue or sports career path that aligns with their professional career goals. The Tourism Apprentice Career Track (TACT) is comprised of three distinctive tracks: a Destination Track, a Sports Track, and a Meetings & Events Track.
